Yang brings over 18 years of experience in investment management, fund operations, and capital formation. As the Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Thrive, she is a trusted advisor and seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in the Asian private markets. Yang has a proven track record of supporting the growth of companies across the region and guiding them through operational and strategic transformations.

Before joining Thrive, Yang served as Chief of Staff at MSA Capital, where she played a key role in strengthening the firm’s cohesiveness, with a focus on portfolio monitoring, fund operations, and human resources. Prior to that, she was the Chief Operating Officer and Investor Relations Director at GenBridge Capital, overseeing all fund operations, back-office functions, and leading the firm’s investor relations and fundraising initiatives. Yang began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, spending over a decade in the Assurance Department in Beijing and New York, rising to the position of Senior Manager. During her tenure, she advised a broad range of asset management clients, including private equity funds, mutual funds, and venture capital firms.

Born and educated in China, Yang holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a master’s degree in Economics from Renmin University. Beyond her professional commitments, Yang is a passionate dog lover and actively supports philanthropic initiatives, particularly those dedicated to animal welfare.
