Yusei Tanaka

Yusei is a Hong Kong–based finance professional with eight years of industry experience.

Before joining Thrive, Yusei was as Assistant Vice President at Value Partners Group, where he led business development, fund distribution, and strategic partnerships for the Japanese market. He also brings strong analytical and consulting expertise from his earlier roles at S&P Global (Market Intelligence) and NNI Insurance Brokers. Yusei began his wealth management career at Okasan Securities in Japan, where he received multiple top-performance awards.

A passionate linguist, Yusei is fluent in Japanese and English, with intermediate proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, French, and German. Outside of finance, he is an avid traveler and multi-instrumentalist with a particular love for the piano.
