Joe is an Analyst based in the Singapore office. He is responsible for originating primary and secondary fundraising mandates.

Prior to joining Thrive, Joe worked at AccelerAsia Ventures as an Associate in the investment team driving deal sourcing, execution and portfolio management. He provided hands on support to early-stage founders of B2B technology start-ups in Southeast Asia. He focuses on finance, strategy and capital raising for follow-on rounds.

He started his career in Finance at Kotak in the investment banking business and moved across different verticals in finance and banking including digital transformation at Mashreq Bank Dubai and research management with Goldman Sachs India. His interest in private markets developed while he was learning MSc Finance at NUS. Through his stints with TNB Aura and The Yield Lab, he gained deeper insights on venture capital business and deal execution. Looking to bring his experiences back to campus, Joe also served as a Student Venture Partner at Picus Capital Germany, sourcing deals from Southeast Asia.

Joe received a Master’s degree in Finance from National University of Singapore. He is an active member of The National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) club. Apart from work, he is a multi-sport athlete and enjoys travelling.
